This grassroots course is designed to fulfill the Coaching Clinic Level 1 requirement for USJA's Coach Certification. This course will introduce you to the fundamentals of Judo teaching with a non-competitive focus.

About the Clinician

     Sensei Leandro Lorenco was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has been teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2006. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a Nidan in Judo.  In Judo he is a 3x Winter National Champion (2014, 2017 & 2019). Currently he owns and operates Milestone Martial Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Research and Book

     In 2019 he released his first book, "Martial Arts Instructorship: the student-to-teacher transition" available on Amazon.com. As a researcher, he has published several scientific studies available on his ResearchGate profile.
